Tofu

I probably don’t need to introduce this, but if you’re not yet familiar with it, go and get some! Not only is it low in calories, but it’s also high in protein and rich in iron - a fantastic meat substitute.

With its neutral flavor, it absorbs any seasoning you add, making it the perfect addition to dishes with an Eastern flair. I love frying it and tossing it into salads or soups to boost my protein intake. I get mine from Carrefour’s Bio line - I like its firmness and the quality of their organic products.
